Terms and Conditions

Warranty

Reviewsion is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, explicit or implied. We shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses that occur due to the use or inability to use Reviewsion.

Reviewsion is guaranteed to function on a clean Shopify store, which is defined as a Shopify store without any active 3rd party apps.

Due to the quantity and variety of Shopify apps and add-ons, we do not guarantee that Reviewsion will function with all third-party apps or add-ons of any kind. We do not assume responsibility and will not be held responsible for any conflicts or compatibility issues that may occur due to third-party software.

Moreover, while Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify's APIs continue to evolve, Reviewsion is guaranteed to function up to the API version it was tested on. Upon API updates, every effort will be made to roll out a compatible version of Reviewsion in the shortest feasible time. We cannot guarantee full functionality during these Reviewsion updates.

Should conflicts occur with third-party software, we may provide support at our discretion.

Support

Reviewsion is offered "as is" and with no implied meaning that it will function exactly as "you" would like, or that it will be compatible with any and all third-party components and add-ons.

Support for Reviewsion is only available for those who have an active plan.

Support and updates for Reviewsion are provided as long as Reviewsion is actively in development and is actively maintained. Should any one of the following occur, we will no longer be responsible for providing support for Reviewsion:

Reviewsion is no longer actively developed as a viable product. eBay, Etsy, Amazon or Shopify's API is no longer actively developed. While we attempt to provide the best support possible for this service, we do not guarantee that any particular support query can, or will be answered to the extent, or within a time-frame that the inquirer is completely satisfied.

Plans and billing

New shops start on the Free plan. You can use it without starting a paid trial or approving a subscription charge.

Standard and Pro start with a 14-day free trial when you approve the subscription through Shopify. Each plan's trial is available once per shop. Returning to a plan offers only its unused trial days. Reinstalling Reviewsion does not restart a used trial.

No charge until your trial ends. After the trial, the subscription is billed through your Shopify invoice at the monthly or annual price you approved. If you have no trial days left on the selected plan, billing starts when you approve the subscription.

Cancelling during a paid trial ends the plan at once with no charge. Cancelling after the trial keeps the plan active until its end date. When the plan ends, choose Free, Standard or Pro to keep using Reviewsion.

Switching to Free ends the paid plan at once. During a paid trial, the trial ends with no charge. After the trial, you give up any remaining paid days, and Shopify does not refund them. Your reviews stay, but features not included in Free stop.

Switching between paid plans takes effect at once. Shopify credits the unused part of the current paid billing cycle.

Removing Reviewsion from your Shopify account will cancel the plan, and all future charges will be canceled.

Reviewsion reserves the right to deactivate accounts where account usage or behavior is detrimental or egregious to the operation of Reviewsion.

Uninstalling Reviewsion and Your Data

When you uninstall Reviewsion, your reviews stop showing on your store straight away, we switch off automations such as automatic imports, and we keep your store's data for 28 days. If you reinstall Reviewsion within those 28 days, your reviews, settings and connected shops are still there, and you can switch the automations back on. We email you the date your data will be deleted.

28 days after you uninstall, we permanently delete your store's data from Reviewsion. This includes all of the following.

  • All reviews from every source, including reviews customers left on your Shopify store, reviews imported from Etsy or eBay, and reviews you uploaded from a CSV file.
  • All review photos and videos, and every file stored for your store, including CSV uploads and review exports.
  • Your products and their matches to your Etsy and eBay listings, your orders and customers, and your review requests, email templates, discounts and settings.
  • Your connected Etsy and eBay shops and our access to them, your connected AI assistants, and your Google Merchant Center feed.
  • Your store's history in Reviewsion, including imports, sync runs and changes to settings.
  • Your store name, owner name and email address, and our access to your Shopify store.

We keep the following after that date.

  • Your billing history.
  • A minimal record of your account, which holds your store's myshopify.com address and Shopify ID, your plan, and the dates you installed and uninstalled Reviewsion. This record keeps track of used trial days. A reinstall does not restart a used trial.
  • A record of how your store used Reviewsion, which we use to learn why stores leave and to improve Reviewsion. It holds your store's Shopify plan, country, currency and language, the features you turned on, counts such as how many reviews you had from each source and at each star rating, and the names of the Etsy and eBay shops you connected. It holds no review text, no photos or videos, and no details of your customers.
  • Your conversations with our support team.

To keep a copy of your reviews, download them before you uninstall. You can download the reviews customers left on your Shopify store as a CSV file, from the Account and Billing tab in Reviewsion's settings. Reviews imported from Etsy and eBay are not in the file. If you have already uninstalled, reinstall Reviewsion within the 28 days to download it.

Ownership

Reviewsion is the property of Illumiko Pte. Ltd. Claiming any intellectual or exclusive ownership rights of our products is strictly prohibited.

Website Content

All content found on this site and throughout the app including images, documentation, support queries and any other information is the property of Illumiko Pte. Ltd. unless mentioned otherwise and may not be redistributed without permission or consent.

Price Changes

Illumiko Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, change, cancel or upgrade a plan without prior notice or consent. Users on active plan will not be charged extra for using the plan, even if the plan's price was increased.

Refund Policy

We firmly believe in and stand behind our product 100%, but we understand that it cannot work perfectly for everyone all the time. If you are unhappy with your purchase, or you have an issue that we are unable to resolve that makes the Reviewsion unusable, we will be happy to consider offering a refund.

Refunds will be offered at our sole discretion and must meet all the following conditions entirely:

  • Your issue(s) come from not being able to perform the core functions of the service.
  • You have attempted to resolve your issue(s) with our support.
  • Issues caused by 3rd party add-ons or apps, Shopify themes or other software will not provide grounds for a refund.

By joining a plan from our site, you agree to this refund policy and relinquish any rights to subject it to any questions, judgement or legal actions.

Please note that Reviewsion is required to use Shopify's billing system, therefore, refunds are handled by Shopify and are issued within Shopify's timeframes.

Email

Illumiko Pte. Ltd. will never send you promotional emails or newsletters. Only functionality related emails are sent, and product updates. We will never sell, share or release your email or any other personal data to any external parties.

License Agreement

By joining our service, you indicate and consent that you have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions listed and detailed on this page. We reserve the right to change or modify the current Terms and Conditions without prior notice or consent.

eBay content

Reviewsion imports and displays eBay content, including your eBay reviews, under a sublicense of the eBay API License Agreement.

By using Reviewsion to import or display eBay content, you agree to all of the following.

  1. You are bound by the eBay API License Agreement.
  2. You agree that eBay, Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Your sublicense to use eBay content is revocable at any time.

Severability

If any part of this Agreement is declared unenforceable or invalid, all remaining clauses in this agreement shall remain binding.

The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. Reviewsion uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. The term 'eBay' is a trademark of eBay, Inc. Reviewsion uses the eBay API but is not endorsed or certified by eBay, Inc. The term 'Amazon' is a trademark of Amazon, Inc. Reviewsion uses the Amazon API but is not endorsed or certified by Amazon, Inc. The term 'Shopify' is a trademark of Shopify, Inc, Reviewsion is not endorsed or certified by Shopify, Inc. Reviewsion ("the App") provides Shopify merchants with the capabilities to aggregate, synchronize, manage, analyze and showcase product reviews from their Shopify, Etsy, eBay and Amazon store.
