Privacy Policy

Reviewsion ("the App") provides Shopify merchants with capabilities to aggregate, synchronize, manage, analyze, and showcase product reviews from their Shopify, Etsy, eBay, and Amazon stores.

This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account, such as Shop name, shop's owner name, and the shop's email address.

Additionally, we store your shop's products SKUs & IDs. This information is used for review assignments, product matching across all connected shops.

We also store the products name, and primary image URL (thumbnail size), for presentation purposes in the dashboard.

During the process of connecting your Amazon, Etsy or eBay shops to Reviewsion, we also store the shop's name and ID, product SKUs, IDs and names. This information is used for product matching, presentation and review assignment.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use your email for communication only. That's it. We don't use the information collected mentioned above for anything else apart from the actual functionality of Reviewsion.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you, or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information while Reviewsion is installed on your store. When you uninstall it, we keep your store's data for 28 days, so a reinstall finds your reviews and settings still there. Then we permanently delete it. That includes your reviews with their photos and videos, your customers' names and email addresses, and your store name, owner name and email address.

After that, we keep your billing history, a minimal record of your account, a record of how your store used Reviewsion with no review text and no customer details, and your conversations with our support team. Our Terms and Conditions list what is deleted and what is kept.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
