What is Reviewsion and how is it different from other review apps?

Reviewsion provides a unified reviews management hub. It automatically imports, in real-time, reviews from Amazon, Etsy, eBay and Shopify, then intelligently assigns each review to its correct Shopify product—and it does it right.

Do I get a free trial, and is anything limited during it?

Accepted Answer

Yes! When you subscribe to Standard or Pro, you get a 30-day free trial with access to all Pro features and theme widgets. The trial includes generous limits for AI features: 150 AI sentiment ratings, 50 automatic translations, and 25 AI product summaries. Unlimited review imports and all widgets are included. Question 3

Which e-commerce platforms does Reviewsion support, and are there any import limitations?

Accepted Answer

Reviewsion auomatically imports reviews from three major platforms—Etsy, eBay, and Amazon—so you can manage all of your social proof in one place:

Question 4

What happens when the free trial ends?

Accepted Answer

When your 30-day trial ends, your account expires and access to your reviews is paused. You have 60 days to subscribe to a plan and restore full access. After 60 days, reviews are permanently removed from the system. Subscribe anytime during or after your trial to continue using Reviewsion.

Question 5

Can I export or edit reviews that Reviewsion imported from Etsy, eBay, or Amazon?

Accepted Answer

Reviewsion automatically pulls those marketplace reviews into Shopify so you can display them, but we can't bulk-export them from other platforms. If you need a copy, you'll have to export it on the original platform (Etsy's "Download Data," an eBay feedback tool, or Amazon Seller Central). Only reviews that were first collected inside Shopify—including ones brought in by apps like Judge.me or Loox—can be exported from Reviewsion.

Question 6

Can I edit review content in Reviewsion?

Accepted Answer

You can't change the wording or add new images/video—locking the text preserves authenticity. What you can do is beautify messy paragraphs, auto-translate the review, apply bold or italic to highlight phrases, hide any existing media you don't want shown, or tag a photo/video as "featured."

Do I need to edit code to show my reviews?

Accepted Answer

No code needed — simply drag-and-drop our theme blocks. For advanced styling, a well-designed CSS class system is available if you want deeper customisations.

Can I migrate my existing reviews into Reviewsion?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Import reviews from exported CSV/JSON files from Shuttle, Judge.me, or any other review platform. Reviewsion automatically matches reviews to the right products with smart field detection and batch processing.

Does Reviewsion collect reviews from customers?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Reviewsion includes a comprehensive review request system that automatically sends personalized email campaigns after order fulfillment. All plans include email templates with 1 follow-up reminder. Pro adds discount code incentives, up to 3 follow-up reminders, delivery-based timing, customer timezone optimization, low-rating support routing, and packing slip QR codes.

How do review requests work?

Accepted Answer

Review requests are automatically sent after order fulfillment with smart timing controls. Standard plans use fulfillment-based timing with 1 follow-up reminder. Pro plans track actual delivery confirmations, send during optimal hours in the customer's timezone, and can send up to 3 reminders. You can incentivize reviews with unique discount codes, exclude certain products or customers, and route low ratings to support before they're finalized. The system automatically creates 7 customer segments based on their review behavior for targeted campaigns.

How does Amazon importing work differently?

This is an Amazon API limitation, not a Reviewsion limitation. Amazon restricts third-party access to 10 reviews per ASIN. We've built Reviewsion to automatically import more the moment Amazon expands access—no action required on your part. For products with many reviews, we import the most recent and highest-rated reviews available. You can also provide individual review links for specific reviews you want to showcase.

Can I import from other Shopify review apps?

Yes! For reviews already collected in Shopify (from apps like Judge.me, Loox, etc.), simply export them from your current app and import the CSV into Reviewsion. We'll automatically match them to the right products. This is separate from our cross-platform importing from Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.
